Where? Miniloc Island
Access? El Nido Island Hopping Tour A, a private boat tour or kayaking from El Nido Resorts’ Miniloc Island Resort
Limestone Cliffs? Yep. To your heart’s content.
Palm Trees / Coconut Trees? Nope.
Sand Quality? Closer to shelly than powdery. But aside from a *very* small pocket beach, it’s all rocky cliffs here.
Water? Clear. Blue green in the shallow part. Dark green on the deep end.
Sunset? Nope.
Best time for photography? Depends on your photography style. Early morning to mid-morning if you want a contrasty punch with harsh shadows. If you’re the light, airy and diffused type, go for a late afternoon trip when the lighting is even. But if you really want to capture the best possible color of the water, hands down, it’s mid-morning.
Crowded? Yes, unless you’re doing an early morning kayak trip from Miniloc. But what else can you expect from El Nido’s poster boy?
Author’s Note? First and only trip to El Nido? Add this to your list.
