It feels like I’ve known Marcus & Jaz for a while now. We’d done an icebreaker shoot at the Botanic Gardens months before this — not as a “warm-up” per se, but as a way of getting to know each other outside the wedding day rhythm. Over kopi and delicious local food at Sprouts, the connection deepened.
That first shoot eventually opened the door to one of my most meaningful gigs to date — a portrait session with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. (But that’s a story for another day.)
For this pre-wedding shoot, we kept things simple: dusk at Marina East Park, and night at the CBD. Clean lines, quiet silhouettes, and that in-between mood where the light has softened and the city starts to hum.
No theatrics, no choreography — just street vibe and the quiet chemistry of two people easing into the next chapter together.
