Two hours. One torrential Tuesday. Taito, Tokyo.

Yes, technically Akihabara — but that would’ve broken the streak of T’s. [ smug face emoji ] That’s how it began: Alex & Nancy’s honeymoon tour of Asia. Tokyo was both the first chapter and the final punctuation mark. A fitting symmetry, and a cinematic one at that.

This marked our third Tokyo run for 2024. While Singapore still wins in terms of flight frequency, the number of actual shoots between Tokyo and SG? Neck and neck. Case in point, this night: soaked streets, umbrella silhouettes, neon halation, and candid laughter between subway transfers. A street-style slowburn of mood and memory.

Also a personal milestone, this was my last shoot before moving into the new redsheep studio, the fold. (ie, sheep fold). Flew back to Manila the next day, moved in, Muji haul in tow. Also… let’s not talk about how many coffee table books I brought home from Tsutaya. Some are still sealed. [face covering eyes emoji]
